The Impact of the Pandemic on Tourism and the Hospitality Industry with Dipra Jha
As we look at the tourism and hospitality industry over the past couple of years, one thing is clear: change is upon us. From the type of travel that folks want to do (resort destinations versus city travel), the massive shortage of employees, or the innovation in the hospitality industry in this short time, tourism looks different these days. In this conversation, scholarly associate professor Dipra Jha joins Brandon to share why the pandemic decimated the tourism and hospitality industry and what we can expect as things recover.
Dipra Jha is a scholarly associate professor in the Carson College of Business and Assistant Director of the School of Hospitality Business Management at Washington State University. He is recognized as an expert in luxury hospitality and tourism strategy, and he currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Washington Tourism Alliance. In his free time, Dipra enjoys traveling and sharing his adventures on his Instagram.
